Workshop on additive manufacturing technologies for fabricating 3D Li-ion batteries – 1-2 Feb 2024
This workshop linked to thee AM4BAT project, took place on the 1st February 2024 in Cambridge at the Marlowe Suite, Clayton Hotel Cambridge as a hybrid event. Delegates were invited to participate in a visit to the project partner Photocentric (Peterborough), on the 2nd February.
Over 60 people registered to participate in the workshop (24 in person and 37 online). On the day, 21 attended in person, and 32 online (total 53). Workshop on personalised 3D bio-printed collagen-and-gelatin implants – 23 Jan 2024
This workshop linked to the TriAnkle project took place on 23rd January 2024 at Clayton Hotel Cambridge, UK. This event was aimed to bring together healthcare professionals, both from private and public organisations, as well as professionals from regulatory policy making and patenting organisations, who are leading development of novel technologies and concepts in regenerative medicine and 3D bio-printing.
Around 60 people registered to attend this workshop (in person and online). External registered delegates came from leading institutions and organisations such as: Geistlich, University of Cambridge, University College London, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust; Nelt Pharmaceuticals, Swansea University, Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering (CBIT), Universitat Politecnica de Valencia, UIC Catalonia, Vonlathen Group, University of Glasgow, ANSYS Uncommon Limited, Bioprosthetics Inc, BioSense Institute, Newcastle University, NarrowWare, University of Sheffield, Alfaisal University Codon Communications, Aleph Farms, AGEless Biotechnologies, NavBiotec, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Massachusetts General Hospital -MGH, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Nanocounsult, among others. Most participating organisations belong to industry (as shown in the graphic below). From those registered, 52 people participated in the workshop, 33 attended in person.
Nanomechanical Materials Characterisation Data Workshop – 3-4 July 2023
This workshop is linked to the Horizon 2020 project nanoMECommons. This event took place on the 3-4 July, and was hosted by the partner Ansys UK in Cambridge as a hybrid event. 40 people registered to participate, from which 14 belong to external organisations. The majority of participating organisations belong to industry.
Workshop on improved barrier films with functionalised nanomaterials – 29 June 2023
This workshop is linked to the Innovate UK funded project HiBarFilm2 project,
This workshop was held in Cambridge, at the Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa (QHotel) on the 29 June 2023, as a hybrid event. A total of 35 delegates registered to participate in the event in person and online. They came from the following leading organisations University of Cambridge, Novartis Pharma (CH), The Coop, University of Strathclyde, Queen Mary University of London, University of South Wales, Bimbo Bakeries USA, Ourobio, Algreen Ltd, Pulpex, Haleon, Echo Packaging Limited, one • five, Yiotis SA, among others.
Workshop on lightweight, multifactional and digitalized materials for offshore turbines- 8th June 2023
This workshop related to the Carbo4Power Project took place in Cambridge, UK, on the 8th June 2023 as a hybrid event at the Bamford and Skillicorn Room, in Homerton College, Cambridge. Over 50 people registered to participate in the Open Day. Confirmed external participants to the Open Day came from the following leading organisations, research institutions and universities: Cambridge University, UCL, City, University of London, TWI, Leitat Technology Centre, Cranfield University, Fraunhofer IGCV, Fraunhofer IWM, TMBK, NanoLayr, TÜV, Cepsa energy and omya international AG, among others.
