The 3D‑Bricks Project held the 2nd Advanced Bio‑nano Electronics Symposium on 23 April 2026. Twenty‑one participants registered for the event, representing institutions from around the world. Most attendees came from academia.
Some of the topics covered were:
- Different strategies for filling of carbon nanotubes to obtain stable p- and n-type doping
- 3D DNA Nanostructures for Hybrid Nanoelectronics
- Upscaling biomanufacturing with microdroplets – from cell factory design to DNA nanotechnology
- DNA as an Engineering Material

The 3D Bricks Project hosted an online Symposium on Advanced Bio nano Electronics on Wednesday, 25 February 2026.
.A total of 32 participants registered from 17 countries around the world. Of these, 64% were from universities, 32% from industry, and 4% from RTOs, as shown in the diagram below.
Speakers and participants came from a distinguished range of institutions, including the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia – Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Leipzig University, the University of Antwerp, and TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology; Kochi University of Technology; Universitat de Valencia; ICN2; ADA University; Teledyne Dalsa; LMU Munich; Universiti Putra Malaysia; University of Belgrade; University of Sarajevo; Universiti Putra Malaysia; CIIMAR; UNAM National Autonomous University of Mexico; and ADC.
This project has received funding from the Pathfinder Open under the European Union’s Horizon EU research and innovation programme (Grant agreement No. 101099125). Overall budget € 3.6.
