Digitalisation and tools like digital twins are reshaping battery manufacturing by improving efficiency and reducing defects, while advances in lithium ion performance, solid state technologies, and additive manufacturing are driving next generation solutions and strengthening a sustainable European battery value chain.
The nanoMATexpo is supporting the upcoming Advanced Battery Manufacturing event. This event is organised by Cambridge Nanomaterials Technology Ltd. and its sister company, CNT Innovation, and will take place in Cambridge, UK, with an option to participate online.
The Advanced Battery Manufacturing Symposium will offer high‑value networking opportunities, combining the rigor of scientific conferences with the practical relevance of industry trade shows. This event forms part of a broader relationship‑building strategy, fostering ongoing dialogue and strong community engagement.
We will welcome distinguished speakers from leading industry firms, top research institutes, and academia, who will share fresh perspectives on the challenges and opportunities in advanced battery manufacturing.
The symposium will take place both in person and online, with a particular focus on industry participants, and will be hosted in the beautiful setting of a Cambridge college.
This new symposium builds on the success of the Advanced Battery Manufacturing Workshop, held on 16–17 April 2026 at Homerton College, University of Cambridge, and online. Organised by Cambridge Nanomaterials Technology Ltd., the workshop supported the battery projects BATTwin and AM4BAT, in collaboration with the BatCAT project.
The two‑day event brought together a dynamic community of researchers, industry leaders, and innovators, with around 60 participants attending in person and approximately 100 joining online. Below are the logos of some of the leading organisations, universities, and research centres that took part.

Delegate Packages
The in-person registration fee includes an information on travel, venue and accommodation, as well as, lunch, refreshments during the breaks.
