Virtual EXPOs helped SMEs with clients and grants
Virtual EXPO booths helped SMEs with attracting clients for their products and services and partners for grant funded projects
Clients – Innovative SMEs
SMEs have a constant need to expand their networks of contacts with potential new clients for their products and services and/or potential new partners for the government grant funded projects to further develop their products and services
- This success story is a compilation of multiple success stories of SMEs having virtual exhibition boot on our one of communities virtual EXPO platforms
- A project partner SME from UK utilised their virtual EXPO booth to present their products and services attracting attention of a multinational aeronautics end user company from UK interested in their products and industry-oriented aerospace research centre in Japan regarding collaboration. Following a presentation on the online project Open Day workshop participants were invited to visit virtual EXPO booths during the coffee and lunch breaks and to request contact using an online form or make a direct contact if they are interested.
- Second example, is the SME that purchased a virtual EXPO and utilise it with the relevant content for the community workshops associated with the EXPO. They used contacts made to develop further their network of potential partners for European grant funded projects.
- Final example is the SEM that came in person to one of the hybrid events and were happy with the contact their made. Following participation at that workshop they decided to purchase development of a virtual exhibition booth and be also visible active for the online participants.
