Advanced Bio-nano Electronics Symposium
3D-Bricks Project
25 February 2026
Online
The 3D Bricks Project will host an online Symposium on Advanced Bio nano Electronics on Wednesday, 25 February 2026.
This international event will bring together experts and stakeholders to explore the latest developments in bio nano electronics. This will be a great opportunity to meet the 3D-Bricks partners, learn about their products, services and the developments of this project.
The 3D Bricks project, launched in May 2023 with support from the European Union, is exploring groundbreaking ways to build the future of electronics. By combining DNA nanostructures with carbon nanotubes, the team is developing new platforms for ultra‑compact circuits and memory systems. This approach opens the door to faster, more reliable, and highly interconnected devices, paving the way for next‑generation computing technologies.
Confirmed speakers will be joining us from a distinguished range of institutions, including the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia – Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Leipzig University, the University of Antwerp, and TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology; Kochi University of Technology; Universitat de Valencia; ICN2; ADA University; Teledyne Dalsa; LMU Munich; and ADC.
Some of the topics covered are:
Different strategies for filling of carbon nanotubes to obtain stable p- and n-type doping
3D DNA Nanostructures for Hybrid Nanoelectronics
Upscaling biomanufacturing with microdroplets – from cell factory design to DNA nanotechnology
DNA as an Engineering Material
Scalable Bottom-Up Fabrication for Future Electronics
Participation to the symposium is free of charge, but registration is required.
This project has received funding from the Pathfinder Open under the European Union’s Horizon EU research and innovation programme (Grant agreement No. 101099125). Overall budget € 3.6.
